Valerie has recreated the tradition of the Viennese “salon”, redolent of Gerhard Bronner´s “Fledermaus” and Broadway Bar. Valerie brings together the best of Viennese and international talent for her salon events, “Viennese Nights”. In these salon events, Valerie creates a platform for well-known as well as upcoming talent and hosts evenings of theatre and song.

The inspiration for ‘Valerie´s salon’ is the legendary ‘Cabaret Fledermaus’ (formerly the ‘Marietta Bar’), hosted by Gerhard Bronner, where Austrian stars such as Marianne Mendt and Peter Alexander took to the stage.

Valerie´s Salon débuted in January 2008 and then were a monthly fixture at the “Fledermaus“ in Spiegelgasse 1, 1010, Vienna. Due to popular request, Valerie brought her Salon to the “Summerstage Vienna” in 2010. The salon events were created around different themes such as „Alles Fisch“ (all fish), „Salon d´amour“ and „Very British, indeed“.
